Conference Theme


Scholars interested in presenting papers are requested to follow the guidelines given below:

·       A brief abstract (not exceeding 200 words) should be submitted electronically by May 31, 2005.  Names of authors, their addresses (postal and e-mail), and phone/fax numbers should also be indicated. Each abstract should have at least three keywords and a topic code that is most appropriate for the submitted paper. (For topic codes, please refer to the next section).

·       Notification of accepted papers will be sent within two weeks of the receipt of the abstract. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed.

·       Papers adhering to prescribed requirements will be eligible for publication in the conference proceedings (in CD-ROM) subject to a page limitation.  The deadline for submission of complete papers for consideration for the proceeding is June 15, 2005.  Authors are not required to submit complete papers unless they are submitting for possible publication in the proceedings. 

·       The final version of papers accepted for proceedings must be submitted by June 30, 2005 in a specified format along with the registration fee.  Detailed instructions for the same will be sent to submitting authors.

·       One or more special issues of the International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management will be published consisting of articles presented on the conference theme.  Such articles are required to adhere to the policies of the Journal, such as refereeing, and must be submitted by October 31, 2005.  For Information for Authors and on Journal, please visit http://www.ijoqm.org

One of the authors must pre-register for the conference by June 15, 2005 to ensure the inclusion of paper in the conference program. Without pre-registration, paper will not be included in the conference program.

Paper Presentation in Absentia: Those who cannot come to Indore but wish to present a paper in absentia are encouraged to send in abstract by May 31, 2005.  Papers presented in absentia are eligible to be included in the conference proceedings.  A processing fee of US $100 should be included for each paper submitted for presentation in absentia.
